  • Join us for a week of tinkering and leave as a first class citizen of the Bitcoin network with your own fully functional node. Become self sovereign by learning some command line basics as well as what you can do with your node.

  • Day 01 / Inventory and assembly

We provide all the parts and tools to build a mini computer that will host and run the Bitcoin code. We’ll help you put all the pieces together.

  • Day 02 / Download and install the code

We’ll show you how to download, verify, and install the code that runs the Bitcoin blockchain.

  • Day 03 / Download the blockchain. Sync with the network

Don’t trust, verify! Your node is now ready to download the entire transaction history of the Bitcoin network.

  • Day 4 / How does all this work?

While we wait for your nodes to sync we’ll talk about how the Bitcoin network functions, including what roles miners and nodes play.

  • Day 5 / More nuts and bolts

The nodes will still be syncing, which gives us more time to dive down the rabbit hole. Mining demonstration included.

  • Day 6 / Exploring your node

Congrats! You’re now a first class citizen of the Bitcoin network. Let’s explore what we can do with these new powers.
